As part of the largest construction project ever completed in Canada’s north, Clark Builders Industrial constructed a variety of design/build projects, totalling 135,000 Sq.Ft., at BHP Billiton’s Ekati Diamond Mine.
These facilities include:
• 6,968 sq.m. truck maintenance facility/shop warehouse and office complex
• 929 sq.m. warming shed
• 5,574 sq.m. A-frame coarse ore storage building
• 2,787 sq.m. camp services building housing the mechanical/electrical systems for the 750 person camp
• Three-storey main security building
• 22 mega watt powerplant utilized for the distribution of services and the fuel distribution and storage system for the entire site
