The Giltedge battery suffered a devastating fire that destroyed the entire process treater and its related equipment, the main MCC and all its associated electrical infrastructure. Tarpon’s contract was to determine the scope of damage and provide the engineering to rebuild the facilities’ electrical and controls including the addition of a new 21 metre treater vessel. To minimize the downtime of the site, the project was placed on a fast-track basis and was completed within four months.
